Every compound in the catalogue is finished, vialled and released from our own facility in Chase City, Virginia, and every released lot carries analytical documentation produced for that specific synthesis rather than a representative certificate borrowed from an earlier batch.

The release standard is consistent across the entire range: at least 98% chromatographic purity by reverse-phase HPLC, identity confirmed independently by HPLC and mass spectrometry at a third party laboratory, visual inspection of the lyophilized cake, and a documented fill and seal step under inert gas into USP Type I borosilicate glass. Material that fails any stage is not released. Because purity and identity are answered by two different methods, a certificate here shows both a dominant chromatographic peak and a molecular ion matching the expected sequence.

Presentation is uniform and deliberately minimal. Vials arrive as sealed lyophilized powder with no diluent and no reconstitution performed in advance, leaving the choice of diluent, concentration and aliquoting strategy entirely with the receiving laboratory. Every label follows one fixed layout so that compound, fill weight, purity and form always read from the same position on the vial.

Storage, handling and reproducibility

Most avoidable variation in peptide work comes from handling rather than from the material. Sealed lyophilized vials are best held desiccated and protected from light; short holding periods are comfortable at 2-8 °C while longer storage is normally done at -20 °C. Once a vial is reconstituted the peptide is far less forgiving, so working solutions are usually aliquoted into single-use volumes and frozen, since repeated freeze-thaw cycling is the single most common cause of measurable potency loss between experiments.

Reconstitution technique matters too. Adding diluent slowly against the vial wall and swirling rather than shaking avoids shearing and foaming, both of which drive peptide to the air-liquid interface where it denatures. Laboratories converting a fill weight into an exact molar concentration should work from net peptide content on the certificate rather than the nominal fill, because lyophilized peptide also carries counter-ion and residual moisture.

Documentation supports the same goal. Keeping the certificate, the lot and the storage history together for each vial makes results traceable months later, which is the difference between an experiment that can be repeated and one that can only be described.

Documentation, traceability and support

Every vial that leaves the facility can be traced backwards. The lot code on the label identifies the synthesis and release cycle, the release cycle identifies the independent analytical report, and the report identifies the methods and the laboratory that produced it. That chain is what makes a result reproducible a year later, and it is the reason lot codes are printed per fill rather than pooled across a product line.

Support is handled by people who work with the material rather than by a generic contact queue. Questions we answer routinely include which analytical methods sit behind a specific figure, how to convert a fill weight into a molar concentration for a given sequence, what solubility behaviour to expect from a hydrophobic peptide, whether a strength that is not currently listed can be filled, and how to obtain the raw chromatograms and spectra behind a published certificate.

What we will not do is advise on use in people or animals. Every compound in the catalogue is a research chemical without approval for administration, and questions framed around personal or clinical use are declined rather than answered indirectly. Within laboratory research, though, there is very little about sourcing, documentation, storage or handling that we will not discuss in detail.

Who we supply and how an order is fulfilled

PrimeGen Co. sells to research laboratories, university groups, analytical method developers and independent researchers within the United States. Orders are placed directly through the site, fulfilled from finished inventory held at our Chase City, Virginia facility, and dispatched domestically — there is no overseas drop-shipping step between the order and the vial, which is what keeps the lot code on the label matched to the certificate we publish.

Checkout is handled by a hosted payment processor, so card details never touch our systems, and the billing descriptor and packing are deliberately plain. Shipments contain the vials, a protective rigid insert and the packing documentation only; certificates are issued digitally against the lot rather than printed and enclosed, so they can be re-issued or forwarded later without contacting us for a scan.

Because research material cannot be verified once it leaves controlled storage, dispatched orders are non-returnable. Damage in transit, a fill or documentation discrepancy, or a missing item is resolved directly by laboratory support — the practical remedy is normally replacement of the affected vials rather than a return, since a vial whose storage history is unknown cannot re-enter inventory.
